As you are cleaning out the space, you may come across things that you have not used in a long time. You may want to consider selling or donating these items. Anything fragile or breakable should be wrapped up in towels or bubble wrap and stored away in a durable container. Boxes of small items may be stored in a spare room or out in the garage.
Keeping Your Stuff Safe
During a remodeling project, there will be lots of dust and debris from the project. There also may be many people in and out of your house. If you have valuable items, you may want to store them in a locked room or rent a storage unit that will be locked and secure. Electronics and furniture and other items that can be damaged by dust and debris may be safer if they are stored off site in a storage unit where they will stay clean and safe.
